Select the number of tickets you'd like to purchase. Select the ticket price/section. Click the "Continue" button.

3. Review ticket details and select a delivery method
The details of your order are displayed. You'll be able to view the best available tickets that were found, look at a seating chart and select your delivery method. You will have two minutes to review and complete this page. If your order is not completed in two minutes, the tickets will be released.

4. Enter billing information
Please have your credit card and billing information ready. If your credit card was issued by a United States bank, you may be asked for your Card Identification Number (CIN) which is located on the back of your card. Once you click on the "Submit Order" button, your credit card will be charged. You will have three minutes to review and complete this page. If your order is not completed in three minutes, the tickets will be released.

For your protection, tickets can only by mailed to the cardholder's billing address. We will send a confirmation email with your event and billing information.

Ticketmaster works with a number of retail partners to provide fully computerised entertainment ticketing services that enable people to walk in, buy a ticket, and carry it away in-hand. Ticket Centre staff members use the Ticketmaster system to show you seating plans of the venue, and event information, including venue directions and facilities available onsite. You can pay for tickets by cash, cheque or Ticketmaster Gift Vouchers in all locations. Credit and debit cards can be used in nearly all sites.

Please note that Ticket Centres cannot accept any phone calls regarding tickets. Once tickets have been purchased they cannot be exchanged, refunded, cancelled or replaced. Of the many Ticketmaster events, the vast majority are available from Ticket Centres. However, a very few can only be booked by telephone or online as some promoters and venues will only accept their own tickets for entry to events and not ones issued by the Ticketmaster computer system. Therefore, Ticket Centres cannot sell these tickets, as they are unable to print the tickets out. A service charge is the cost applied when you make a booking through an agent, be it online, over the phone or in an outlet.

Why are these charges levied?

The charges pay for our credit/debit card processing services, merchant fees, distribution network, the installation and maintenance of computer hardware and software, telephone lines, labour and all other costs associated with the ticket transaction.

Service Charges are also shared with ticket outlets that use our equipment to make tickets available locally.

If we incur ticket delivery costs, these will be included in the Service Charge. Examples include postage and packaging, or the support of newer delivery methods such as ticketFast, where scanning hardware is required at participating venues.

How much is the service charge?

As an authorised ticket agent, we negotiate our charges with venue operators, promoters and others based on costs involved in both their presentation of the event and our services with respect to the ticketing of their events. The actual amount is determined by agreement with the venue or promoter for each event. The maximum service charge is currently €6.85.

We will always clearly identify the face value of all tickets and any additional convenience or handling charge before proceeding with the transaction. This carefully scripted information is in place to ensure every customer knows exactly how the total price is constructed and consequently and gives them a choice to continue or decline.

Occasionally, some events will be available to purchase over the Internet in advance of the general public onsale. These presales frequently require a password that may be distributed by the venue, artist, team, or promoter of either the event or the presale, or distributed by Ticketmaster. Cookies and Graphics
Your browser must be set to accept cookies and graphics in order for you to purchase tickets on ticketmaster.ie. Make sure your computer is set to accept cookies and graphics before you try to make a purchase.

Make sure nothing is blocking your browser from accepting cookies, which will also block Ticketmaster.ie from placing your seating information in your computer's temporary memory which is necessary to purchase tickets. See Cookies and Graphics section.

Proxy Servers
Some online service providers, such as AOL or Prodigy, use a device called a proxy server. Proxy servers save copies of sites on their server rather than connecting users to the Internet or the specific site requested. In most cases this works fine.

Using a proxy server might prevent you from purchasing tickets because you need to access our ticketing system directly. If you do not know if you are accessing the Internet through using a proxy server, contact your Internet service provider.

Access ticketmaster.ie through a direct Internet connection and not through any service using proxy servers.

Transaction No Longer Active
This error is caused by an interruption to the transaction process. During the ticket buying process, our computer or your computer lost access to our ticketing systems. Receiving this error means that your request did not make it to the ticketing system.

Please resubmit your ticket request and try again.

Too Much Time Has Elapsed Before We Received Your Information
This error is caused when the ticketing system releases your seats because the transaction took too long. You only have five minutes to purchase tickets after ticketmaster.ie shows you what seats are available to you.

A slow Internet connection may cause this error. You might try disconnecting and then reconnecting to your Internet provider to improve the speed.

Please resubmit your ticket request and complete your order within five minutes.

Sorry, we are unable to fulfill your specific request.
This error appears when, at the moment you submit a request for tickets, the ticketing computer can't find the number of tickets you requested in any one place. If you checked for a single seat and got this message, Ticketmaster has probably sold out of its allocation for the event. However, you should check back on the site from time to time, as new seats may become available. If you selected more than one seat, try decreasing the amount. You may also want to try a different seating area or select "best available" to see if perhaps there are seats available in another section.

We get an allocation of tickets to sell on behalf of the venue and event organisers, and tickets can be snapped up really quickly for popular events. But sometimes, you might notice that more tickets become available after you've booked – this can be for a number of different reasons. So why are better tickets sometimes available...

a few minutes after the event goes on sale?
When customers find available tickets either online or through any of the other access points, those tickets are actually reserved while the customer considers the purchase. During that period, which lasts for only a few minutes, no one else can view or purchase those tickets. If the customer decides not to buy the tickets, they are "released" and become available to other purchasers. So if a customer is looking at 10th row center seats and decides not to buy, those seats become available for another customer.

...days after the event goes on sale?
A venue may release more tickets for Ticketmaster to sell as the event date approaches. This happens for several reasons such as 1) The artist or team may no longer need the tickets that were held when the event originally went on sale, or 2) Once the stage or event area is set up, the venue has a better idea about which seats are obstructed. Sometimes events are so popular that even seats with obstructed views are released for sale!

Additionally, sometimes a customer attempts to buy tickets but their credit card is declined. If Ticketmaster is unable to contact the customer to secure a valid credit card or billing address, Ticketmaster may cancel the order and release the tickets for sale. Tickets may also be re-released if a customer does not follow Ticketmaster's published ticket limits or other terms of use.

Venues usually have 'Reserved' seating. Which means that you are given a row and seat number and therefore know beforehand where you will be sitting. A few venues or events have 'Unreserved' seating. This means that we cannot guarantee where you will be sitting. The first people to enter the venue will get choice of where to sit so basically you are guaranteed a seat but it is first come first served so always arrive early if you want good seats.

What is a Ticketmaster Gift Card?

Gift cards are a great way to give your loved ones the chance to choose tickets for whatever they want – whether their thing's music, sport or the theatre, we've got something for everyone. What can my Gift Card be used for?
You can use your gift card to buy most tickets available through Ticketmaster IE, along with any merchandise available on our website like t-shirts and albums. 
 
There are a few events where we can't accept payment from a gift card – for example, paperless events. You also can't use our gift cards to book for events outside the Ireland.

Using your Gift Card

Most of our gift cards can be used to book online at www.ticketmaster.ie. Just choose your tickets as normal, and then you'll have the option to use a gift card when you get to the payment page. You'll need to enter the gift card number from the back and the 3 or 4 digit security code (or pin) from the signature strip. The security code can sometimes be under a silver foil panel. Please be careful when you enter the security code because if its entered incorrectly 3 times it will lock the card for 24 hours.

How do I check the balance of my Gift Card?


It's really easy – just click here – you'll need to enter your gift card number which is on the back.
 
Please remember that there is no facility on our website for you to store the balance to use at a later date. So you will need to enter the card number at the time of booking.

 

How long is my Gift Card valid for?

Your card is valid for 12 months from the day it was bought – after that it will expire and we can't extend cards or issue refunds. If you're the one giving the gift, please remember to pass the information on – you don't want it to go to waste!

 

Can I extend my Gift Card once it expires?

Unfortunately not – it's valid for 12 months, but if you haven't used it by that time we can't extend the card's life. Please remember to check when your card was bought so you don't lose out.

 

What is an e-Gift Card?

These are great for last minute gifts! You just order online and instead of waiting for a plastic card through the post, we'll email all the details directly to the person you're giving it to. We can do that straight away, or you can choose a specific date – it's completely up to you. We can even deliver the card directly to your loved one's Facebook wall if you want us to.

 

Can you replace lost Gift Cards?

Unfortunately we can't. There's no way of tracing them, so it's really important that you keep them safe until you're ready to make a booking. Think of your Gift Card like cash.

 

Can I have a refund on my Gift Card?

Refunds are available for un-used purchased from us up to 14 days from the date of activation. Refunds will be issued in the form of a cheque and can take up to 6 to 8 weeks. To request a refund please click on the link below and complete the form. Please include as much information as possible.

Sometimes the event organisers will ask us to use Card Entry, to make sure as many genuine fans as possible get the chance to book. Please remember that this means no paper tickets will be sent in the post. 

Is Credit Card Entry different from Paperless Tickets?

Nope, it’s the same thing – just a new name.


How does it work?

When you book for a show, the card you use to pay will then act as your tickets to get you in on the night. It's all very clever – our scanning system, will recognise the credit card you made your purchase with, so on the night they just swipe your card, check it against your ID to make sure you are who you say you are, then you're in. No paper tickets through the post and no going to the box office to pick your tickets up.

One thing to remember – your whole group will need to arrive together. As the cardholder, you're the important one! Your guests will need to arrive with you to get in.

Virtual credit cards won't work as there's nothing to scan on the night – you'll need to use a physical card that you can take along with you.

Can I authorise someone else to use my tickets?

You can't – Card Entry ticketing is designed to stop tickets from being passed on or resold, so this would make it too easy for resellers to get round the system. Please only buy tickets if you’re sure you're definitely going to the event. If your circumstances can change quite quickly, maybe you should leave it up to someone else in the group to book the tickets.

We will try to help where we can though – we know that things can come up, so if your circumstances do change, get in touch with our customer services team and we'll try to help.

What if I go to the entrance with my kids and swipe my card – can they go in without me?

This isn't allowed – you, as the cardholder, actually have to go into the venue, watch the show and have a good time. If your kids ask you to book tickets for them and it's a Card Entry event, they'll have to make the booking on their own card if they want to go without you being there.

Can I transfer my order onto another card?

We can only ever transfer onto another card if the one you booked with has been cancelled, lost or stolen. It would still have to be in your name and address, so we can't transfer onto someone else's card.

Can I buy Card Entry Tickets with a Ticketmaster Gift Card or Virtual Credit Card?

No. Sorry – You need to use a credit card or a Visa / Mastercard Debit Card in order to purchase Credit Card Entry tickets.

What do I need to take with me on the night?

Confirmation of booking. The credit/debit card used to buy the tickets. Photo ID – that's a drivers’ license / Proof of Age Card or Passport.

What if I don't have a drivers’ license Proof of Age Card or Passport?

It's going to be really strict on the night, so you will need some state issued photo ID. If you can't provide the right ID, you might not get in – and we can't refund unless the event actually gets cancelled. To avoid problems, if you don't have any photo ID, it's best to get someone else in your group to order the tickets.

Will I get any paper tickets before the show?

No, sorry! If it's a Card Entry event, just bring yourself, your card, photo ID and your reference number.

What if my friends won't be there until later?

The whole group does need to go in together. If your friends are late and you go in without them, they won't get in.

What if my card that I purchased my tickets with is lost or stolen?

If you have Card Entry tickets and your card is lost or stolen contact our customer service team.

You’ll need to send us a copy of your credit card billing statement showing only the last four digits of your card. The name & address on the statement must match the name & address on your order

 

What if the credit card I used expires before the event?

Just bring the old card, or the replacement card with the same credit card number and updated expiry. If you destroyed your old card and your new one has a different number please contact customer service.

What if I forget to bring the credit card I used to purchase?

Oh no! Go straight to the box office for help. Each venue has its own policy, but they’ll probably ask for your photo ID and purchase confirmation email. You can show them the email on your phone, and the name on the email must match your ID.

I used a card I share with my spouse – can they get in without me?

As long as they’re an authorised card user! They’ll need to have a card with the exact same credit card number issued and their name on it. Just make sure your other half brings the card and photo ID.

What is eTicket delivery?

·If eTicket delivery is available on your event, you will be able to choose how you wish to view your tickets.  You can print at home when logged in via your desktop/laptop or view and present them for entry at the venue on your mobile device via the Ticketmaster mobile website or Ticketmaster app.  You can also bookmark your mobile web ticket.

Where do I select eTicket delivery?

·The eTicket option will be displayed along with other delivery options when it is available.  Note that eTicket delivery will not be available for every event.

What if the barcode does not scan at the venue?

·All mobile tickets display a 2D barcode with 17 digits. In the event that a venue scanner cannot read your mobile ticket, you will be referred to the Box Office for physical tickets to be issued.

 

Will the scanners at venues work through phone screen covers?

•Yes - there should be no issue using a phone that has a clear screen protector.

Is there anything I need to do when I get to the venue to scan my mobile?

•Make sure the backlight on the phone is set nice and bright. Scanners work much better with a bright  screen and it will save time at the venue entrance changing this if the ticket won't scan.

What happens if I lose/change my phone?

•You can still choose to use the Print-at-Home (TicketfastÒ) option by logging into your My Ticketmaster  account and print off your tickets.

What will happen if the barcode is sent to a non-smartphone?

Do all members in my booking have to arrive together if I have selected eTicket delivery?

·Yes, all members in your booking must arrive together as scanning will be conducted on your (the purchaser’s) mobile device.

What happens if I forget my phone or my battery dies at the venue?

·If you find yourself at the venue and are unable to access your ticket on your mobile phone, please visit the Box  Office. You will need to provide some form of ID so that the Box Office staff can access your Ticketmaster account details.

A: The presale opens on Wednesday 14 June 9am local time. It’s a simple, standard purchase process and the steps below will help you navigate your search and purchase.

1. All fans who register will receive an email by midnight on Tuesday 13th June letting them know if they have been successful in the ballot for codes.
If successful, you will then receive an offer code via email on Wednesday 14th June a couple of hours before the presale begins at 9am local time. This email will include timing details and a link to where you can purchase your tickets, along with your one time use unique offer code.

What is a Collector Ticket?
The Collector Ticket is a colourful plastic credit card sized ticket – it’s a collectible souvenir with an exclusive design for your event, and it comes with a lanyard so you can wear it!

Can I order one Collector Ticket and one normal ticket?
Not at the moment, sorry! The way we print and pack tickets means that the entire order would either have to be Collector Tickets or standard.

How much does a Collector Ticket cost?
It’s just an extra €5.95 per ticket, and you’ll have a great souvenir for your event!

When will I receive my Collector Tickets?
The latest you should expect your Collector Tickets is around 2 weeks before the show, but we do aim to send them out much sooner wherever possible. We can’t arrange delivery for a specific date, but please    don’t worry, as we’ll make sure the tickets are in your hands before the show! If you still don’t have your tickets by 2 weeks before.

How do Collector Tickets work?
It’s pretty similar to normal tickets! If you've ordered 4 Collector Tickets, you’ll receive 4 passes and 4 lanyards – they’ll have a barcode on, which will be scanned on your way into the event.

Do I have to wear the Collector Ticket around my neck?
You don’t have to, but we’d recommend it just so you don’t lose it – we can’t send you a replacement if it goes missing. You’ll need to keep your ticket with you during the event, so you can show it to security if they ask.

How do Seatwave get their tickets?
 
Seatwave is an open marketplace where members of the public are able to buy or resell their tickets.
 
The number one aim is to make sure that anyone who buys a ticket through Seatwave can be confident that the tickets do exist and they'll be delivered to them before the event.
 
All transactions on Seatwave are backed by their TicketIntegrity Guarantee, so that buying is safe and secure – the seller isn't paid until the buyer has received their tickets.
 
How are the tickets priced on Seatwave?
 
As Seatwave is an open marketplace, prices are driven by supply and demand. For really popular events, there are usually far more people who want tickets than there are tickets available, so this will usually drive the price up above face value.
 
Where an event isn't so popular, it's not uncommon for tickets to be resold below the original face value.

We understand that after making a booking that you may move house or need to have the tickets sent to a different address. But before you put your change of address request through there are a few things to be aware of so that we can help you. Please look at the info below first and we’ll update your details as quickly as possible.

 

I haven’t made a booking yet – do I have to wait until I’ve booked tickets before changing the address? Nope! Before you book your tickets, just log into your online account and go into edit Billing Information. Updating the billing information in your online account will only store the address for any bookings you might make in the future – for any outstanding orders you need to get in touch.

 

I’m Moving house soon – can I update my address now? If you've moved house recently, please get in touch as soon as possible to update the address on your order. Please remember if you are moving house soon to wait till you've moved before requesting a change of address – there’s always the chance that we’ll send the tickets early before you move.

 

The tickets weren’t booked on my card – can I still update the address? Sorry, we can only update the address if the cardholder for the booking contacts us directly – it’s a security issue. If the tickets were bought for you as a gift or your partner booked the tickets, we’ll still need the cardholder to contact us. If you’re not the named cardholder, we won’t be able to make any changes to the order.

 

Can you send my tickets to an alternative delivery address? Sorry! We can only send to the billing address of the card.

 

My booking says the tickets are processing – can I still change my address? We can't update the address once we've started to process your tickets for dispatch, as we’re unable to single them out from that point. Please be sure to get in touch as soon as you can once you've moved.

 

How do I contact you with my new billing address? It’s easy! Just hit the Contact Us tab above, choose Change of Address as the category and be sure to fill in all the fields. It’s important that we have all the info before we can update your order – just so we can be sure that we’re dealing with the cardholder. You will need to include proof of address in your email as a bank statement or utility bill. You can attach this at the end of the form before you hit send. If you need to change the address on more than one order, please be sure to include all your reference numbers.
