We are unable to give customers any further indication as to why the card has not been authorised and suggest that customers contact their individual branch or credit/debit card company for more information. In order to change your address details, we require written confirmation of your new address in the form of a photocopy of the card statement with your new address printed on it.

Box Office Collection
If you have selected box office collection, your tickets will be held at the venue on the day of the event. We'd like to make your experience at Ticketmaster as easy as possible. Following are three easy ways to help you look for event and venue information:

Category Pages

To help you find events more easily, we've organized our events in four easy-to-browse categories. Just click on a tab at the top of any Ticketmaster page to see events organized by music, arts & theatre, sport and family & attractions. If you'd like to find events to find events that are happening in your region, enter your city or county in the "Browse" box on the top left of the page.

Events are categorized by:
Arts and Theatre
Family and Attractions

To find a specific event or venue, simply type the partial or full name of the event or venue name into the yellow search box located on the top left of the home page.

To find a specific "Event" or "Venue":
Type in the full or partial name of the act or event.

Example: "David Bowie" or "Bowie"
Example: "Gaiety Theatre" or "Gaiety"

"David Bowie at the Gaiety Theatre" will not return results for David Bowie or Gaiety Theatre. Type in either "David Bowie" or "Gaiety Theatre" to receive event or venue search results.

Browse Ticketmaster's wide selection of events by using the blue browse box on the upper left side of the homepage.

Refine your search by:

Entering city or county
Selecting a category of interest
Selecting a date range to search in

If you provided an email address, we'll send you a confirmation within 72 hours. You can also see your booking details by logging into your online account and checking your order history.

If you booked over the phone, rather than going to the order history, choose Print Receipt and you can pull up your booking details using your phone number and the card details you paid with. Please see below for a step to step guide for this:

Click here to log into your account/if you haven't got an account, you can create one here. Choose Print Receipt from the menu on the right of the page Enter the phone number you gave us when you booked (but leave out the first 0) Enter the card number you paid with Select the country your event’s in from the drop down menu

Once the above has been entered, click the submit button to view all matching bookings.

MobileTickets are a new way to quickly receive the event tickets that you buy on Ticketmaster.ie

Rather than having tickets posted to you, or collecting them from the box office, instead a barcode is sent to your mobile phone in a text message.

The barcode is valid to admit you and any other members of your party to the event.

1) How does MobileTicket work?
2) How long does it take to receive my MobileTicket?
3) Why do I need to supply my mobile handset's make and model?
4) Does everyone in my party have to arrive together?
5) Why can't I just forward the barcode myself to any of my guests not entering with me?
6) What if I lose my phone, or if it's stolen, or if I upgrade to a new handset?

How does MobileTicket work?
If MobileTicket is available on the event you are buying tickets for, it will display as a delivery option.
Step 1: Select MobileTicket delivery.
Step 2: Follow the prompts to tell us your phone number and the make and model of your mobile handset.
Step 3: Receive the barcode in a text message.
Step 4: Take your phone to the event, where the barcode will be scanned as you're admitted.

How long does it take to receive my MobileTicket?
As soon as you've supplied your mobile number, make and model, we aim to deliver the barcode within 24 hours, but it's usually much quicker than that.

Why do I need to supply my mobile handset's make and model?
Different phones require different formats of MobileTicket. It's important to make sure that the barcode you receive is the right type and size for your phone, helping to ensure it can be easily scanned at the venue.

We've partnered with Mobiqa, the world leaders in mobile delivery, who optimise each and every MobileTicket for its destination handset.

To make it easier for you, we provide handset images whenever we ask you for your make and model, helping you to pick out yours.

Does everyone in my party have to arrive together?
No. If you've purchased more than one ticket in a single order, we'll send you a single barcode that is valid to admit for all members of your party, but if one of more of your guests need to enter separately just:
1.Give us a call on

Republic of Ireland:
0818 903001

Northern Ireland & UK
0333 321 9996

International Customers
00 353 818 903001

2.Tell us the number, make and model of the phone belonging to your guest(s).
3.We'll send a duplicate ticket to your guest, at no extra charge.

Why can't I just forward the barcode myself to any of my guests not entering with me?
It's better to let us do it for you, because we'll reformat the barcode so that it's optimised for each handset type.

It's our priority to make sure that everyone arriving at the event has a MobileTicket that is right for their phone and which can be scanned quickly and easily.

What if I lose my phone, or if it's stolen, or if I upgrade to a new handset?
Just give us a call, let us know if your replacement phone has a new number, or is a new make or model, and we'll take care of getting a replacement MobileTicket to you, at no additional charge.

In most cases, we will invalidate the original barcode that we sent to you, to make sure that any new owner of your old phone can't use your tickets.

Tickets should always be treated like cash. Please keep them in a safe place ALWAYS.  General admission tickets cannot be replaced.

Ticketmaster Ireland

Our goal at Ticketmaster is to make your purchasing experience easy, efficient and equitable, so we can get you on your way to live events as quickly as possible. The following purchase policies are designed to ensure your satisfaction and understanding of the purchase process on ticketmaster.ie. This Purchase Policy incorporates our Terms of Use by this reference.

Purchase Policy

Ticketmaster sells tickets on behalf of promoters, teams, bands and venues which means Ticketmaster does not set the ticket prices or determine seating locations. Policies set forth by our clients, such as venues, teams and theatres, prohibit us from issuing exchanges or refunds after a purchase has been made or for lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed tickets. When you receive your tickets, please keep them in a safe place. Please note that direct sunlight or heat can sometimes damage tickets. Tickets purchased on ticketmaster.ie may be subject to a per ticket convenience charge and a non-refundable per order handling charge. Tickets may be restricted to a maximum number per person, per credit card and, for some events, a restriction may apply per household. The maximum number is included on the first purchase page and is verified with every transaction. This policy is in effect to discourage unfair ticket buying practices. We reserve the right to cancel tickets without prior notice purchased in excess of this number. Please remember, all purchases are subject to credit card authorisation and billing address verification which may take place after initial confirmation has been given.

Ticketmaster aims to post all tickets within 72 hours of booking. If you have a confirmation number for your order, your tickets are likely to be on their way. If you have not received your tickets within 48 hours of the event, please contact us as soon as possible. Ticketmaster only posts tickets to the billing address of a credit card. More on mailing and box office collection..

Your booking is for entry to the event not a guarantee of receiving tickets. Unless box office collection has been agreed upon all customers should contact the customer services department should they not have received their tickets within 48 hours of the event.

Occasionally, events are cancelled or rescheduled by the promoter, team, band or venue. Should this occur, we would endeavour to contact you either by phone, e-mail or letter with the contact details you provide at the time of booking. To gain a refund on a cancelled or rescheduled event, tickets must be returned to the point of purchase by a secure method of post. Tickets purchased in person from a Ticketmaster ticket centre should be returned directely to the ticket centre for refund. All other tickets should be returned to the following address by a secure method of post:

2nd Floor, College Park House,
20 Nassau Street
Dublin 2
D02 VY46, Ireland

Tickets are generally sold through several distribution points, including online, Charge-by-Phone centres, ticket centres and box offices. All distribution points access the same ticketing system and inventory, therefore, tickets for popular events may sell out quickly. Occasionally, additional tickets may be available prior to the event, however ticketmaster.ie does not control this inventory or its availability. More on ticket availability.

For information about a purchase you've made, contact us using the ask a question, quoting your order number given to you at the conclusion of placing an order.

It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event. The management reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasions, have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase. Tickets are sold subject to the management's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the Promoter, Venue Management, Ticketmaster or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be refused entry to or ejected from the venue. Ticketmaster reserves the right to cancel any tickets advertised or published in any manner with the intent to resell for profit or commercial gain. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy. On certain events there are group concession/discount rates whereby 10 or more people want to book tickets for a show in The Olympia Theatre for example. For more information on concessions on your event please refer to our website. Or you can contact our Group Bookings Department on 01 6486029 or email www.group.sales@ticketmaster.ie.

On certain events there are different price for Children of a particular age. Please refer to our website for specific events you would like to inquire about.

Venue Layout:

Some events, depending on the venue, can be fully seated shows or part seated and part standing. In these cases standing, for example, may be a different price to the seated tickets. This is also the case for 'good seats'. If a show is fully seated then the best available tickets might be the best seats in the house (closest to the stage). Some of the older venues may have seats available with possible restrictions on the view and so may be priced lower.

Please refer to http://www.ticketmaster.ie for further information about a particular event.

Official Ticketmaster Ticket Stock - HAS BEEN CHANGED!

This new stock is white with a coloured mosaic design on the right hand side. All tickets are stubbed and show 2 barcodes. Previously, our ticket stock was blue with a yellow line on the end with 2 barcodes. These tickets are still OK to use until further notice.

Please note changes and differences in tickets.

The 02 tickets

The ticket stock for The 02 is different from the original Ticketmaster paper. It is dark in colour with a hint of lilac in it. There is a picture of The 02 venue printed on it and there is an embossed 02 logo on the corner. These tickets are OK and will be admitted into the venue with a valid barcode.

Ticketmaster TicketFast Tickets

Please be aware when making a booking, if you have selected TicketFast, that you must click on the link to print your ticket. TicketFast tickets ARE NOT to be printed at the box office. These tickets are to be PRINTED AT HOME by the customer.

This is how you get your tickets fast. Please DO NOT approach a box office and ask them to print off these tickets as there is not always a box office present at an event. If you turn up at an event that doesnt have a box office and you havent printed off your TicketFast tickets then you will not be admitted into the venue.

Once printed, these tickets will display all the seat details as well as the event details and customer details. There will be 2 barcodes on the sheet, one at the top right corner and one at the bottom left corner. These tickets are OK with a valid barcode.

The information requested may be used for a variety of purposes related to the ticket purchase transaction. These purposes can vary by transaction, but include, for example, allowing us to: ship/deliver tickets and/or receipts; respond to customer service requests; review and enforce limits on the number of tickets purchased per event and to help prevent credit card fraud.

Where do I select eTicket delivery?

·The eTicket option will be displayed along with other delivery options when it is available.  Note that eTicket delivery will not be available for every event.

•Yes - there should be no issue using a phone that has a clear screen protector.

Is there anything I need to do when I get to the venue to scan my mobile?

What information displays on the back of my mobile ticket?

1.Venue address

2.Event text

3.Order number

5.Ticket type

6.Grand total

7.Event code

8.Event host

What will happen if the barcode is sent to a non-smartphone?

•You will not be able to view the ticket. In this instance you may view the Print-at-Home (TicketfastÒ) ticket on your desktop computer via the link in your confirmation email and print your barcoded ticket, or visit the Box Office on the day of the event to have a  physical ticket printed.

Do all members in my booking have to arrive together if I have selected eTicket delivery?

·Yes, all members in your booking must arrive together as scanning will be conducted on your (the purchaser’s) mobile device.

What happens if I forget my phone or my battery dies at the venue?

·If you find yourself at the venue and are unable to access your ticket on your mobile phone, please visit the Box  Office. You will need to provide some form of ID so that the Box Office staff can access your Ticketmaster account details.

Question: Can I bring my bag?

Answer: Searching is a condition of entry to protect your safety and that of others. Due to increased security measures, we strongly advise you allow sufficient time to get through security checks to gain entry to the venue in a safe and timely manner.

To ensure as smooth an access as possible and to avoid any unnecessary delays we strongly suggest that you bring as little as possible with you to the event and minimize jackets and additional layers when possible. To avoid disappointment do not bring backpacks or larger handbags, you may be refused admission to the venue without a refund.

We recommend if you are bringing a personal bag, purses or clutch bag, you should only bring those of smaller sizes i.e. those measuring 4.5in/11.4cm x 6.5in/16.51cm or smaller will be allowed.

We will also conduct additional further security searches of clothing, bags and other items, as determined by us in our reasonable discretion, including on entry and exit.

Bord Gais Energy Theatre

Unfortunately, Tony Bennett's sold-out concert at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre this Sunday, June 25 is cancelled as the 19-time Grammy winner has a flu virus and has been advised by his medical doctor to rest and recover for the next few days.

Tony sends his deepest regrets to all his fans in Ireland that he will not be to perform for them as he was greatly looking forward to being back in Ireland again where he has received such a warm response from audiences over the years.

We understand that after making a booking that you may move house or need to have the tickets sent to a different address. But before you put your change of address request through there are a few things to be aware of so that we can help you. Please look at the info below first and we’ll update your details as quickly as possible.

I haven’t made a booking yet – do I have to wait until I’ve booked tickets before changing the address? Nope! Before you book your tickets, just log into your online account and go into edit Billing Information. Updating the billing information in your online account will only store the address for any bookings you might make in the future – for any outstanding orders you need to get in touch.

I’m Moving house soon – can I update my address now? If you've moved house recently, please get in touch as soon as possible to update the address on your order. Please remember if you are moving house soon to wait till you've moved before requesting a change of address – there’s always the chance that we’ll send the tickets early before you move.

The tickets weren’t booked on my card – can I still update the address? Sorry, we can only update the address if the cardholder for the booking contacts us directly – it’s a security issue. If the tickets were bought for you as a gift or your partner booked the tickets, we’ll still need the cardholder to contact us. If you’re not the named cardholder, we won’t be able to make any changes to the order.

Can you send my tickets to an alternative delivery address? Sorry! We can only send to the billing address of the card.

My booking says the tickets are processing – can I still change my address? We can't update the address once we've started to process your tickets for dispatch, as we’re unable to single them out from that point. Please be sure to get in touch as soon as you can once you've moved.

How do I contact you with my new billing address? It’s easy! Just hit the Contact Us tab above, choose Change of Address as the category and be sure to fill in all the fields. It’s important that we have all the info before we can update your order – just so we can be sure that we’re dealing with the cardholder. You will need to include proof of address in your email as a bank statement or utility bill. You can attach this at the end of the form before you hit send. If you need to change the address on more than one order, please be sure to include all your reference numbers.
