1. You buy a ticket (select method of payment and delivery preference).
2. We confirm payment with your bank (fraud protection and ticket limit check)
3. You receive your tickets via post, print them via TicketFast or pick them up at the box office
4.  Enjoy the show.

Billing
When purchasing tickets online or through our Call Centre, a request for card authorisation is made to your card company or bank. If for any reason your card is not authorised, you will be informed immediately by a message on the website, the transaction will be terminated, and the tickets will be returned to the pool. We are unable to give customers any further indication as to why the card has not been authorised and suggest that customers contact their individual branch or credit/debit card company for more information. Ticketmaster only posts tickets to the billing address of a card. If the address in your booking does not correspond to that held by your card company, your tickets may be cancelled. Should you have any questions about an item attributed to Ticketmaster on your card statement, please contact our  customer service department immediately.

Mail and Box Office Collection
Ticketmaster aims to post all tickets within 72 hours of booking, unless stated otherwise at the time of your booking. If you have a confirmation number for your order, your tickets are likely on their way. If you have not received your tickets within 72 hours of the event, please contact customer service as soon as possible. Ticketmaster only posts tickets to the billing address of a credit card. If the address in your booking does not correspond to that held by your credit card company we may cancel your tickets.

Irish and UK Mail Customers - If you have selected delivery through standard post, please allow 7- 10 days. Users from the UK are requested to select the Irish postage option.

Some types of tickets have posting restrictions, including:

International Mail Customers - If we can't post the tickets to you in time, delivery through the post will not be an option in the booking process, and international customers will be asked to pick up tickets at the box office.

If your address changes before we are able to post your tickets, please contact our customer services department immediately. In order to change your address details, we require written confirmation of your new address in the form of a photocopy of the card statement with your new address printed on it.

Box Office Collection
If you have selected box office collection, your tickets will be held at the venue on the day of the event. Tickets are usually available from one hour before the event, but please check the venue information page to make sure. You will need to provide your credit card and confirmation number for identification purposes.

MobileTickets are a new way to quickly receive the event tickets that you buy on Ticketmaster.ie

Rather than having tickets posted to you, or collecting them from the box office, instead a barcode is sent to your mobile phone in a text message.

The barcode is valid to admit you and any other members of your party to the event.

How does MobileTicket work?
If MobileTicket is available on the event you are buying tickets for, it will display as a delivery option.
Step 1: Select MobileTicket delivery.
Step 2: Follow the prompts to tell us your phone number and the make and model of your mobile handset.
Step 3: Receive the barcode in a text message.
Step 4: Take your phone to the event, where the barcode will be scanned as you're admitted.

How long does it take to receive my MobileTicket?
As soon as you've supplied your mobile number, make and model, we aim to deliver the barcode within 24 hours, but it's usually much quicker than that.


Why do I need to supply my mobile handset's make and model?
Different phones require different formats of MobileTicket. It's important to make sure that the barcode you receive is the right type and size for your phone, helping to ensure it can be easily scanned at the venue.

We've partnered with Mobiqa, the world leaders in mobile delivery, who optimise each and every MobileTicket for its destination handset.

To make it easier for you, we provide handset images whenever we ask you for your make and model, helping you to pick out yours.

Does everyone in my party have to arrive together?
No. If you've purchased more than one ticket in a single order, we'll send you a single barcode that is valid to admit for all members of your party, but if one of more of your guests need to enter separately just:

Why can't I just forward the barcode myself to any of my guests not entering with me?
It's better to let us do it for you, because we'll reformat the barcode so that it's optimised for each handset type.

It's our priority to make sure that everyone arriving at the event has a MobileTicket that is right for their phone and which can be scanned quickly and easily.

What if I lose my phone, or if it's stolen, or if I upgrade to a new handset?
Just give us a call, let us know if your replacement phone has a new number, or is a new make or model, and we'll take care of getting a replacement MobileTicket to you, at no additional charge.

In most cases, we will invalidate the original barcode that we sent to you, to make sure that any new owner of your old phone can't use your tickets.

On certain events there are different price for Children of a particular age. Please refer to our website for specific events you would like to inquire about.

Venue Layout:

Some events, depending on the venue, can be fully seated shows or part seated and part standing. In these cases standing, for example, may be a different price to the seated tickets. This is also the case for 'good seats'. If a show is fully seated then the best available tickets might be the best seats in the house (closest to the stage). Some of the older venues may have seats available with possible restrictions on the view and so may be priced lower.

The ticket stock for The 02 is different from the original Ticketmaster paper. It is dark in colour with a hint of lilac in it. There is a picture of The 02 venue printed on it and there is an embossed 02 logo on the corner. These tickets are OK and will be admitted into the venue with a valid barcode.

Ticketmaster TicketFast Tickets

Please be aware when making a booking, if you have selected TicketFast, that you must click on the link to print your ticket. TicketFast tickets ARE NOT to be printed at the box office. These tickets are to be PRINTED AT HOME by the customer.

This is how you get your tickets fast. Please DO NOT approach a box office and ask them to print off these tickets as there is not always a box office present at an event. If you turn up at an event that doesnt have a box office and you havent printed off your TicketFast tickets then you will not be admitted into the venue.

Once printed, these tickets will display all the seat details as well as the event details and customer details. There will be 2 barcodes on the sheet, one at the top right corner and one at the bottom left corner. These tickets are OK with a valid barcode.

GENERAL

a) These Terms and conditions (T&Cs) incorporate, and should be read together with, any Vendor’s and/or Agent’s T&Cs or regulations, which you can obtain from the point of purchase from the Official Agent. Tickets are all sold subject to licence.
b) Purchasing a ticket or accepting a guest ticket for this event constitutes your acceptance of these T&C’s.
c) Artists and billed attractions may be subject to change. The Promoters are not liable for the payment of any compensation or loss of money and/or expenses incurred.
d) No trading allowed within the venue without the Promoters prior consent.
e) Goods using unauthorised event logos and unauthorised professional recording equipment will be confiscated
f) Do not buy tickets or goods from unlawful street traders/touts. They are invalid. Invalid tickets are non-refundable.
g) You give your express consent to your actual/ simulated likeness to be included for no fee within any audio or visual recording to be used in any media for any purpose at any time. This includes filming by An Garda Síochána or security staff which may be carried out for the security of customers and/or the prevention of crime.

REFUNDS -
a) Refunds are only considered on major cancellation, substantial alteration or by special exception determined by the Promoter.
b) Refunds should be obtained from the point of purchase, no later than 3 months after the event.
c) A minimum of the face value of the ticket will be refunded.
d) Refunds of booking fees per ticket are subject to the T&Cs of the point of sale.

AGE POLICY -
a) Under 16’s accompanied by an adult. No unaccompanied under 16’s are allowed on site.
b) Under 16’s must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult, parent or guardian who is over 18 years old.
c) Children under 5 (4 years and under) do not need a ticket to the event but must be accompanied by a ticket holding parent or guardian over 18 years old.
d) You must be able to prove your age with valid identification if requested, failure to do so may result in being refused admission.
e) Food and Drink will be available for purchase at the Event. We will be operating the Challenge 21 Policy for all alcohol sales on site.
f) It is illegal for a person over 18 to purchase alcohol on behalf of someone under 18.

TICKETS AND WRISTBANDS -
a) Tickets/wristbands are non-transferable and only valid when purchased from official agents of the Promoter.
b) Tickets/wristbands purchased from unauthorised sources will be rendered invalid and refused admission.
c) There is no re-admission on a Day Ticket. Once on site you cannot leave and re-enter.
d) Tickets must be valid, presented in full, with stubs and not tampered with (in the event of accidental damage, refer to point of purchase prior to event).
e) The Promoter will not issue duplicate tickets for lost or stolen tickets/wristbands.
f) Tickets cannot be used as part of any marketing, media or sales promotion, without the prior written consent of the Promoter.
g) If you have obtained this ticket in breach of these Terms and/or if you breach any of these Terms, the ticket will be void and all the rights conferred on you will be void. If you seek to gain entry on a void ticket then we reserve the right to refuse you entry or eject you from the event and you might be liable to legal action for trespass. Void tickets are non-refundable.
h) The ticket holder is responsible for their ticket prior to entering the event until it is exchanged for a wristband and then responsible for their wristband for the duration of the event.
i) Tickets for this event have a unique barcode which will be scanned on entry and if found to be duplicated, either in error or for fraudulent gain, only the first instance of the ticket scanned will be admitted regardless of original ownership. Customers may be prosecuted if found to have deliberately duplicated and resold tickets for fraudulent gain.
j) 2/3 day Wristbands are only valid for entry on the days specified and will not be replaced if removed before the end of the last day of the event.
k) Wristbands are not transferable and cannot be used by different people on different days.
l) All tickets and wristbands remain the property of the Promoter until 12pm the day after the last day of the concert.

SECURITY
a) The Promoter reserves the right to evict a customer or refuse admission, without a refund. Please see the Eviction Policy on the event website.
b) If you are perceived to be intoxicated, abusive or displaying threatening behaviour, you will be refused entry into the event, even if you hold a valid ticket/wristband.
c) You may be body and/or bag searched at the entrances, on the site or when leaving. Any person who refuses to be searched by a steward or other person acting on behalf of the Promoter will be refused admission or ejected from site.
d) Any item(s), reasonably considered for use as a weapon, which may cause danger, offence or disruption to any other person, will be confiscated.
e) Any person carrying illegal items or carrying out illegal activity will be given to the An Garda Síochána and refused entry.
f) Anti-social behaviour may lead to eviction. Please act responsibly.
 

DAMAGE/LOSSES
a) The promoter is unable to accept any liability for personal or property damages, losses (including confiscations) or injuries sustained at this event - other than caused as a result of our negligence. Any personal property brought to the event is at your own risk.
b) We may prosecute you if you cause damage to the Venue, the venue’s infrastructure, or cause harm to any other person at the Event and/or Venue.

BANNED ITEMS
a) The following items may not be brought into the venue – Smoke & Gas canisters, aerosols over 250ml, airhorns, fireworks, flares, glass, illegal / unidentifiable substances, drugs, ‘legal highs’, laser equipment/pens, megaphones, nitrous oxide & any associated equipment, sky or ‘Chinese’ lanterns, sound systems, drones, spray cans, unofficial tabards/high viz jackets, cans, umbrellas, generators and camping equipment. All items will be confiscated.
b) No food, drink or alcohol can be brought into the event, with the exception of sealed soft drinks bottles (up to 500ml per person).
c) Excessive amounts of cigarettes. Only bring enough for personal consumption.
d) Anyone resisting the confiscation of disallowed items or disregarding these conditions will face eviction.
e) Unauthorised professional photography or use of professional recording equipment is prohibited and zoom lenses, audio visual or cinematographic devices will not be permitted on site.


FIRE AND SAFETY
a) Fires are not permitted anywhere onsite. Anyone involved with starting a fire or throwing anything onto a fire will be evicted from site.
b) Smoking (including e - cigarettes) is not permitted in enclosed public spaces or buildings, including any tents, Arena big tops etc.
c) Excessive exposure to loud music may cause damage to your hearing.
d) Pyrotechnics, lasers, smoke machines, strobe lighting/special effects may take place during some performances.
e) The use of drones or similar equipment for any reason is strictly forbidden onsite.
f) The Event is outdoors. You are strongly advised to bring appropriate clothing and footwear to protect against potential inclement weather.

What is eTicket delivery?

·If eTicket delivery is available on your event, you will be able to choose how you wish to view your tickets.  You can print at home when logged in via your desktop/laptop or view and present them for entry at the venue on your mobile device via the Ticketmaster mobile website or Ticketmaster app.  You can also bookmark your mobile web ticket.

Where do I select eTicket delivery?

·The eTicket option will be displayed along with other delivery options when it is available.  Note that eTicket delivery will not be available for every event.

What if the barcode does not scan at the venue?

·All mobile tickets display a 2D barcode with 17 digits. In the event that a venue scanner cannot read your mobile ticket, you will be referred to the Box Office for physical tickets to be issued.

 

Will the scanners at venues work through phone screen covers?

•Yes - there should be no issue using a phone that has a clear screen protector.

Is there anything I need to do when I get to the venue to scan my mobile?

•Make sure the backlight on the phone is set nice and bright. Scanners work much better with a bright  screen and it will save time at the venue entrance changing this if the ticket won't scan.

What happens if I lose/change my phone?

•You can still choose to use the Print-at-Home (TicketfastÒ) option by logging into your My Ticketmaster  account and print off your tickets.

Do all members in my booking have to arrive together if I have selected eTicket delivery?

·Yes, all members in your booking must arrive together as scanning will be conducted on your (the purchaser’s) mobile device.

What happens if I forget my phone or my battery dies at the venue?

·If you find yourself at the venue and are unable to access your ticket on your mobile phone, please visit the Box  Office. You will need to provide some form of ID so that the Box Office staff can access your Ticketmaster account details.

Q: How do I purchase tickets for the Harry Styles Invitation Presale?
A: The presale opens on Wednesday 14 June 9am local time. It’s a simple, standard purchase process and the steps below will help you navigate your search and purchase.

1. All fans who register will receive an email by midnight on Tuesday 13th June letting them know if they have been successful in the ballot for codes.
If successful, you will then receive an offer code via email on Wednesday 14th June a couple of hours before the presale begins at 9am local time. This email will include timing details and a link to where you can purchase your tickets, along with your one time use unique offer code.

Q: Where is the Aviva Stadium?

A:  Aviva Stadium is in the heart of Dublin, just over one mile from St Stephen’s Green. The ground itself is a landmark known to all Dubliners and is located in the heart of the Ballsbridge area, Dublin 4. It is bordered by Shelbourne Road to the West, Lansdowne Road to the South, Bath Avenue to the North & the Dodder River and Dodder Walk to the East.  Fans should allow themselves plenty of travel time when getting to the concert. See our ‘Getting There’ section below.

 

Q: When is the Phil Collins show due to take place?

A: Sunday 25th June 2017. Doors at 6pm, with support coming from Blondie. For the latest time updates please keep an eye on www.mcd.ie closer to the event.

Q: Who can go?

Getting there

Q: I'm travelling from the UK - can you tell me best way of getting to the Aviva Stadium?

A: The best airport to fly into is Dublin Airport. There are also two ports to arrive by ferry: Dun Laoghaire and Dublin Port. Please see next FAQ for further directions.

 

Q: I'm trying to find out how I can get to the event?

A: As traffic and parking delays are inevitable you are strongly advised to use public transport (Dublin Bus, Dart or Luas) or car pool – THERE ARE NO PARKING FACILITIES AVAILABLE LOCALLY FOR CONCERTS. Q: Can I purchase a car parking ticket?
A: No, unfortunately not. There are no parking facilities available except a limited number of special needs spaces. To apply for access to accessible parking please email: access@mcd.ie .

Event Facilities & General info

Q: What is the earliest I can arrive to the event?

Answer:  Aviva Stadium doors will open at 6pm on show day (Subject to change). No queuing will be permitted prior to this so you should time your arrival accordingly.

 

Q: Can I bring Garden Furniture or seats with me?

Answer: Unfortunately, not. Neither garden furniture nor umbrellas will be permitted for Health and Safety reasons.

 

Question: What smoking area facilities are there at the Aviva stadium?

Answer: The Aviva stadium is a strictly NO SMOKING stadium.  Dedicated smoking areas are located outside stiles:  A, E, I ,M, P and  X

 

Question: Where is the Box office located for the concert?

Answer: There are two Box office locations 

1. The Ticketmaster unit on the corner of Northumberland Road and Lansdowne Road (guest list will be in this unit too)

2. Ticketmaster unit on Newbridge Avenue (opposite Marian College)

 

Question: Is there customer service staff at the event?

Answer: Yes 

 

Inside the venue: Ticketmaster/MCD Customer care have staff located on each of the Levels: 0(Pitch), 1 and 3 and 5 available to assist customers with any issues 

 

Pitch area: Adjacent to Gates 104 and 125 

Level 1: Near Block 111 and 118

Level 3: Near Block 310 and 320 

Level 5: Near Block 506 and 526

 

In addition, there will also be floating Customer Care/Ticketmaster staff on Level 1 and 3 and 5 wearing Pink high VI’s so please familiarize yourself with them and know where you can locate them if required.

 

ALL CUSTOMER CARE/TICKETING STAFF WILL BE WEARING PINK Hi Vis

 

Question: Will there be an assistance for accessible customers 

Answer: Yes. There will be accessible assistants on site wearing Blue Hi Vis Please ask a member of staff to help you locate them if you are unable to locate them yourself and they will be happy to assist you as required.

 

Q: Will there be Disabled Facilities?

A. Yes. We want everyone to be able to enjoy our events, participate, feel safe, as well as being part of the crowd. The following section aims to help you make an informed decision about attending. All disabled customers are welcomed at MCD shows. Please note all wheelchair/special needs tickets must be booked in advance by calling Ticketmaster Accessible Phone Number on 0818 903001.

 

 

 

 

Wheelchair Users facilities

For this event, there are designated wheelchair locations on each level within the stadium which can be booked by calling Ticketmaster Accessible Phone Number on 0818 903001.

Please Note that space in this area is limited and we operate a strict 1+ 1 policy for access to this area. Please contact us well in advance to allow us to plan for your arrival.

 

There may be use of laser and strobe lights at the event. Those persons affected by lighting should ensure they have sufficient time to leave the viewing platform/crowd before effects begin. Please bear in mind the audience may be very large and movement through the crowd slow. Please note wheelchair users maybe requested to remain in the designated wheelchair area at the end of the show till the main crowd has left the site. This is for everyone’s health, safety and security.

 

Additional accessible facilities

For all non-wheelchair related special needs ticket enquiries we will have a limited number of designated seats in the tiered seating area. Please note these can only be booked by calling   Ticketmaster Accessible Phone Number on:

ACCESSIBLE PARKING

Accessible Parking will be available in the Stadium Car Park.

Please note access to this car park will only be permitted to those with a valid car pass. The carpark will only be available up until approx. 2 hours before the event advertised opening times at which time roads will be closed to accommodate pedestrians.

*Please be advised, the height restriction for vehicles entering this carpark is 2.1 meters. Please advise if your vehicle is above this height as we will need to give you an alternative option.

Please note special needs car passes will not be issued until approx. 2 weeks prior to the event. Ticketmaster will advise us of contact details for all wheelchair /special needs ticket holders and these will automatically be offered an option of availing of special needs parking. Please be advised that there will be a delay in exiting the car park after the show as An Garda Siochana give priority to pedestrians on the roads around the venue for a period after the show.

Q: Can I bring Alcohol into the venue?
A: No alcohol is permitted onto the event site and searches will be in place at the entrances. MCD are committed to responsible alcohol policies and work with www.drinkaware.ie  in relation to this.
Please note: We also have a 4 drink per person limit on all onsite bars. ID will be checked rigorously on event day.

Q: Will there be food available to purchase at the event?

A: Yes. There will be an array of onsite concessions selling food and beverages.

 

Q: I am Coeliac, gluten intolerant, will there be food suitable to cater for my needs?

A: Yes, there will be a limited selection of foods available to cater for such dietary requirements. If you have any concerns/queries, please email access@mcd.ie in advance and we will be happy to advise options accordingly.

Medical Facilities

 

Please note there are medical and welfare facilities on site, which are open to all customers.

 

Q: I am diabetic and need someone to go to take/to store my insulin

A: Please notify security at the gates in advance of being searched that you are carrying such items. Please bring official supporting medical documentation to avoid any issues on the day.  Please approach the medical room at the event and a member of medical staff will be happy to assist you accordingly in relation to your requirements.

 

For directions to the nearest medical room please follow onsite signage or ask the nearest steward for assistance.

Q: What type of camera is permitted?

A: Point and shoot compact cameras and cameras with fixed (non-zoom) lenses under 3 inches (75mm) ARE PERMITTED.

Question: Can I bring my bag?

 

Answer: Searching is a condition of entry to protect your safety and that of others. Due to increased security measures, we strongly advise you allow sufficient time to get through security checks to gain entry to the venue in a safe and timely manner. 

 

To ensure as smooth an access as possible and to avoid any unnecessary delays we strongly suggest that you bring as little as possible with you to the event and minimize jackets and additional layers when possible. To avoid disappointment do not bring backpacks or larger handbags, you may be refused admission to the venue without a refund.

 

We recommend if you are bringing a personal bag, purses or clutch bag, you should only bring those of smaller sizes i.e. those measuring 4.5in/11.4cm x 6.5in/16.51cm or smaller will be allowed.

Unfortunately, Tony Bennett's sold-out concert at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre this Sunday, June 25 is cancelled as the 19-time Grammy winner has a flu virus and has been advised by his medical doctor to rest and recover for the next few days.  

 

Tony sends his deepest regrets to all his fans in Ireland that he will not be to perform for them as he was greatly looking forward to being back in Ireland again where he has received such a warm response from audiences over the years.

 

Refunds are available from point of purchase.

We understand that after making a booking that you may move house or need to have the tickets sent to a different address. But before you put your change of address request through there are a few things to be aware of so that we can help you. Please look at the info below first and we’ll update your details as quickly as possible.

 

I haven’t made a booking yet – do I have to wait until I’ve booked tickets before changing the address? Nope! Before you book your tickets, just log into your online account and go into edit Billing Information. Updating the billing information in your online account will only store the address for any bookings you might make in the future – for any outstanding orders you need to get in touch.

 

I’m Moving house soon – can I update my address now? If you've moved house recently, please get in touch as soon as possible to update the address on your order. Please remember if you are moving house soon to wait till you've moved before requesting a change of address – there’s always the chance that we’ll send the tickets early before you move.

 

The tickets weren’t booked on my card – can I still update the address? Sorry, we can only update the address if the cardholder for the booking contacts us directly – it’s a security issue. If the tickets were bought for you as a gift or your partner booked the tickets, we’ll still need the cardholder to contact us. If you’re not the named cardholder, we won’t be able to make any changes to the order.

 

Can you send my tickets to an alternative delivery address? Sorry! We can only send to the billing address of the card.

 

My booking says the tickets are processing – can I still change my address? We can't update the address once we've started to process your tickets for dispatch, as we’re unable to single them out from that point. Please be sure to get in touch as soon as you can once you've moved.

 

How do I contact you with my new billing address? It’s easy! Just hit the Contact Us tab above, choose Change of Address as the category and be sure to fill in all the fields. It’s important that we have all the info before we can update your order – just so we can be sure that we’re dealing with the cardholder. You will need to include proof of address in your email as a bank statement or utility bill. You can attach this at the end of the form before you hit send. If you need to change the address on more than one order, please be sure to include all your reference numbers.
